OHVA Day at Bob Evans Farm Festival will be on Friday, Oct. 13, 2006.Festival Hours are 9 to 5. You do not need to RSVP ahead of time for this outing but to receive face to face credit you will need to sign in with an OHVA teacher. Teachers will be positioned by the craft barn (in front of the old homestead) from 11 to 12. Teachers will have an OHVA sign for easy identification.
Admission:
School groups are admitted free but you will need to put a sign in your front car window indicating that you are with OHVA. To request a sign send an email to mmccoy@ohva.org and Marge will be email a sign which you may print and take with you that day.
Activities
More than 100 artisans demonstrate and sell their wares, many made with tools and techniques nearly forgotten today. Crafts and demonstrations include horseshoe art, folk toys, blacksmithing, seasonal items, soap making, quilting, wood turning, pottery, stained glass, leatherworking and weaving. Children's activities include the lead horseback rides, a hay bale maze, face painting, wagon rides, a game tent and the new corn maze.
