“Blues Women International” presents Women Sing the Blues too!! Wilebski's Blues Saloon – 2011 award winner of the 'Supportive of the Blues (Non-Performer)' award will host the first “Blues Women International” Concert/Fundraiser that is sure to chase away your winter blues.

Blues Women International’s Mission “is a group that shares, and is motivated by blues music, working together on a specific project(s) to achieve a common objective. To foster and encourage on an international level women blues artists, vocalists and musicians in the performing and recording arts industry, this will be done by promotion of their work thru print, radio, and live performances as well as encouraging their professional and artistic development.” http://blueswomenintl.com

This concert will raise funds to promote the organization and complete the press process of the album recorded in Clarksdale, Mississippi this past January and includes two talented local female musicians (Joni and daughter Alexandra Buffalohead) on the compilation.

Seven Local/Regional Blues Women and their bands will unite in support of the Blues Women International Organization at the legendary St. Paul Blues venue, Wilebski’s Blues Saloon, 1638 Rice St, St Paul, MN, Sunday, April 7th. Start time 1pm – 6pm.
