Accounts/Merging/Cobranding
Hello,
I am sorry for a newbie question but I read all the forum posts I could find on the topic and this should be better spelled out in FAQs.

I am a webmaster that works on many sites that are unrelated to each other. I want to have localendar on all of these sites. I understand that each calendar needs its own account but if I want premium services for each of those calendars.

My question is do I need to setup a webmaster account for each site at the $30 a year or do I get the Cobranding Deluxe and create and/or pay those calendars from my one account?

I don't care if I can see all of those calendars from my one account I just want to be able to have webmaster services on each site without having to have each client purchase their own webmaster account if I don't have to.
Does merging do that without showing each calendar to every other client?

Thanks again for humoring my simpleton questions. I just want to be able to use this product the proper and most efficient way.

Re: Accounts/Merging/Cobranding
If you have a ton of calendars, then Cobrander Ultra is the way to go. Essentially, you can create an unlimited # of calendars with Webmaster-level features and they don't have to be related.

Just make sure that you sign up for free Basic Cobranding (http://www.localendar.com/calendar/cobranding) *and* make sure that you create all of your accounts through your cobranding signup page (http://www.localendar.com/cobrand/salesianacademy)

Re: Accounts/Merging/Cobranding
Hi,

I followed these steps, and I created a cobranded URL (http://localendar.com/cobrand/calliduscalendar). I created an account using that URL. When I logged into that account using that URL, I land on a page with a URL that is a generic for Localendar (https://localendar.com/elsie?JSP=Calendar). When I log out, I get back to the general Localendar login page. I don't see this as a private calendar to me nor whether the subcalendar is included in my premium subscription (the home page for the subcalendar shows an expiration date of 2/2/17). Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Paul

Re: Accounts/Merging/Cobranding
calliduscalendar is your cobranding "master" calendar.
Any sub-calendars you want to create should be created at http://localendar.com/cobrand/calliduscalendar) and not the localendar.com homepage.

It appears you created 1 sub-calendar already: callidusupgrades

The callidusupgrades calendar does not receive the subscription on calliduscalendar, because calliduscalendar has a Webmaster subscription, which applies to a single account. Only the Cobrander subscription will apply to sub accounts. callidusupgrades has a regular 30-day trial period in effect from when you created it.

I see you added your website url under the Options->Cobranding tab. That should take you to that address (and not the localendar.com homepage) when you sign out from a sub account. I just created a test cobranding account under calliduscalendar and this worked correctly. Perhaps you added the address after your initial testing? Please try again and let me know if you still have problems.

Your custom logo is apparently not hosted on a server that supports https, so localendar isn't displaying it in all browsers (like Chrome). There are free https image hosting sites on the net if you search w/ Google.
