site was down and not announced.
Several times i have not been able to access the localendar site, either the public one or the one i edit (uumarin) and there is no way to contact support since i can't get into the site and there is no phone number listed that i can see. this last time was yesterday and seemed to last all day. it is very frustrating for the people who are trying to use the site and those who are editing it. i do not see any explanation under the announcements this morning. any suggestions for the next time this happens? sad

Yes - there was an unplanned outage yesterday.

The recovery time should have been under 5 minutes, but some monitoring components were still pointing to the old localendar datacenter (where we still haven't received our hardware from the vendor - hence the site still seemed live), so the problem wasn't immediately obvious to us.
