I wish the holidays would be selectable individually. The groupings aren't really applicable to all situations. A drop-down selection would be nice.

Thanks, steve9805

I think this is a great idea. I would like to have Canadian Holidays made available as an option. It seems presently some common ones are only available if you choose to include US days that do not apply.

Whew! There are a bunch of things "in progress" - I usually don't post to the announcements forum until particular features are ready crying

Basically, there are a lot of things going on around internationalization, which we've sorely neglected. "real" timezone support, holidays, ical, translations, that sort of thing. A major undertaking but we're making progress. Plus some infrastructure stuff which isn't glamorous, but makes things smoother/safer overall.

Hey Marc,

Two years and numerous request that I see throughout the forum seems that this has fallen through the cracks again. Seems like a long time in the making to have this option added.

I would also like to add some of the other options (eg. weather) available to Premium Account holders. There are a lot of Canadian users, as I am sure many other countries, it would seem that this should be something of a priority.

Thanks
Don

It actually is a priority - but not one that we can handle at the expense of dropping current issues and support requests. If you want to help pitch in on either the support or coding, let me know wink

Have we isolated ourselves from a huge portion of potential international users by not supporting this sooner? Yes.

Has this work "fallen through the cracks" - no.

Are we making sure we support our current users before moving into new areas? Yes.

I would love to help wherever I can. I am a little rusty with some of my coding and have a number of irons in the fire at the moment which seems to chew up the hours. Let me know what kind of support you are thinking about.

Cool!

Actually, just identifying a good ical feed for Canadian holidays would be very useful. And you don't happen to speak French, do you?
