I would really like to see an option to add Canadian holidays to the calendar....and an option for postal code instead of just zip code

We have had previous requests for this as well.
Currently, we don't have a Canadian holiday category. You can remove US observances under Options->Events.

You can include Canadian holidays using a public iCal feed from an external site (see http://www.icalshare.com/categories/holiday?query=canada)

Once you have the feed url, see our docs for how to import it:

We are working on an improved holiday generator, and also iCal integration so you can pull these in from an external source.

I am unable to remove them under the above suggestion.
If possible, could someone from support go in a remove for me.
Will not allow me to save.
Thank you

You can import an iCalendar feed to get Canadian holidays. For example,

http://www.icalshare.com/categories/holiday?query=canada

then see http://localendar.com/docs/display/lc/Importing+iCalendar+into+your+localendar
