I like the idea of the different styles of backgrounds. However, they're outdated and using them makes the text illegible. I would love to use the sports theme because I use this as a soccer field schedule, but the green background blurs out all the text and is not usable. I still love localendar and have used it for neighborhoods I manage for several years. It seems like it might be time for some additional, more modern, designs to become available. Please let me know if I can help. I can't program, but I can design.

If you had at least a premium basic subscription (9.95/yr) you could upload your own images to use as the calendar background. (Under Options->Colors)
