I have an embedded full page calendar on my page. I would like the RSS feed to list things today and in the near future. The feed seems to only list things for THIS month. If events start early in the next month, they don't show up.

Is this something that can be updated? I want to have a full calendar view, but have the rss button give the code for today+near future. Like a sliding window of time

Below is the code in my page (generated from the publish button) and the link code for the rss button

It would be nice to have an option to display the full page with an option for the newsfeed timeline (month, near future, etc). IE mix and match the format

Thanks

Paul

<IFRAME src="http://www.localendar.com/public/phantomracer" height=850 width=900 marginheight=0 marginwidth=0 scrolling=yes frameborder=0 border=0></IFRAME>

which makes a nice calendar.

The rss button that is generated gives http://www.localendar.com/public/phantomracer?style=M3

Here's my quick (if inelegant wink ) solution

First, suppress the existing rss link being shown by changing your calendar link to be:

http://www.localendar.com/public/phantomracer?rss_link=false

The link to the "Today + Happening Soon" RSS is:

http://www.localendar.com/public/phantomracer?style=D4

You can add some HTML to your calendar's footer to put this link back in to replace the one you just turned off:

<A HREF="http://www.localendar.com/public/phantomracer?style=D4"><img border=0 src="/images/xml.gif" alt="RSS Calendar Feed"></A>

I don't get the rss button on IE to light up to add it. Strange

If I use d2, I get a nice page, but the button code is D4 which gives code

If I use D4, I get code, not a nice page (not very useful):

http://www.localendar.com/public/phantomracer?style=D4

is a proper RSS feed. You should be able to put it into your browser and see that (if you're a relatively recent browser anyway)

The html I gave you was for an RSS link for the D4 view, and it sounds like it's working correctly. Keep in mind, a person visiting the site would copy the link this points to into an RSS Reader - usually not a web browser.
