Oh no - When I visited my site the main calendar list of upcoming events has been stolen and the message below is displayed:

Oops !

IP Flood Protection activated. Please try your request again in a few seconds.

Please click here to return to localendar.

Is there! What should I do - report it to the police - H E L P! please.

And now I have it back by re entering the code but the formatting has gone..... arrrgghhhh - please help - I was going to demo this to our group in 45 minutes!!!

Oh - OK it's not so broken now. I think there could have been a bit of user error which has now been rectified!! However the first issue with the IP flood protection thingy - wasn't me - honest!! Needs 10p for the boiler me thinks.

And now I have it back by re entering the code but the formatting has gone..... arrrgghhhh - please help - I was going to demo this to our group in 45 minutes!!!

From my post in another thread...

I wanted to mention that we activated our "IP Flood protection" mechanism.

We will still block IPs that are clearly making malicious requests (these requests contain obscene or explicit text)

The big change is that we won't be automatically blocking requests because an invalid calendar was requested (multiple times). Only IPs that requesting multiple calendars every second will be blocked - and even then only for a few seconds.

We are monitoring our servers to see if this solution is as effective as the IP blacklist.

The only way you would see that message is if we received multiple requests from the same IP for that calendar. You can create this situation yourself by hitting F5 really quickly a bunch of times in your browser.

This is another attempt we are making to balance stability and availability in light of recent malicious attacks.
