The only way I have been able to set the color of the borders between the days in the monthly calendar is by setting the background color for the entire calendar. I want the calendar background to be white and white borders do not show up when the background color of the days is also white. I do not want to change either of these background colors. How do I set these borders to some darker color (preferably black or dark gray) that will show up? I have found at least one localendar calendar online that has a white background with gray borders so it apparently can be done. Thanks for your help. Another issue I have seen: I have the weekend day colors set to a gray right now and the day header is a dark color but the white borders do not show up on these days or in the day header in IE9. The white borders do show up in FireFox, Chrome and Opera on the weekend days and in the day header. This is an obvious issue related to IE9. My calendar is not yet posted to my web site so I cannot give you a link right now, but I can put a web page up if you need to look at it. |

Do you mean like this sample: http://localendar.com/public/2013_calendar I think perhaps you are using the month-block alternate style for your calendar (please correct me if not) That style does not show the borders between days since events can span across multiple days. Otherwise, if your calendar has white events and a white background, you should still have the thin gray border as shown in the example above. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Sorry for the delay. We had a minor crisis this week and I was unable to get on the computer until tonight. Anyway, yes, I want the lines/borders between the days. My calendar style is M0 which I believe is the style you say should have the lines between the days. Here is the script in my test page "<SCRIPT src="http://www.localendar.com/public/iaftroop?include=Y&dynamic=Y&style=M0&rss_link=false"></SCRIPT>". Any other ideas on why this in not working? |

While you are looking for answers here is another question. Earlier in the week my events did not have underlines. All text is in the title with nothing is in the Description. Tonight they all have underlines. What happened? I know the underlines can be eliminated because I can see other calendars where they are gone. |

Never mind on this second question. I figured out that the removal of the underlines is a "premium" account feature and my trial period expired in the middle of the week. |

I want to thank you for ignoring my questions. I now know what kind of customer service I can expect if I actually paid for your service - zip, zero, nadda. I wish other customers the best of luck getting anything answered from you guys. |

I'm sorry! I didn't realize that your use of a free service not only entitled you to immediate responses to your queries, but to be rude as well. For the benefit of other users then: Since http://www.localendar.com/public/iaftroop works fine (and has the lines) and since you are using the dynamically included calendar style, then the most likely culprit is that you have poorly written CSS on your site that is setting some global styles. Of course, in all your emails you never actually bothered to paste a link to where you were publishing your free calendar, so we can't investigate any further. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

I only expect your support to check back on the thread in a timely manner. Per your statement that I have poorly written CSS on my site, the problem is there when I have absolutely no CSS included in my page. Had you responded I would have provided any additional information you requested. As far as expecting something from a free service, I was planning to sign up for your paid service once this issue was resolved. And waiting 2 weeks with no response from you is excessive, even for a free service. And as for rude, you are the pot calling the kettle black. |

And still, you never actually bothered to paste a link to where you were publishing your free calendar, so we can't investigate any further. As for "the pot calling the kettle black", perhaps you should read the thread in order by date and reconsider your statement. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
