 All Day
Sunday 21st June: 10.30am – North Gower including Rhossili, Cwm Ivy, Cheriton and Llangennith

Starting by walking North along Rhossili beach we follow the coast path over dunes and lowish cliffs past a number of hidden beaches. and onto the salt marshes of north Gower. From here we move inland to the village of Cheriton with its grand church before climbing up  to the high point of the walk and (hopefully) amazing views of most of south Wales. We then descend down through Llangennith to the end of our walk.

10 miles (though options to extend or shorten walk depending on conditions and time). Moderate to difficult walk due to distance and one major climb (186m) and a number of short cliff climbs. Amazingly varied walking with numerous different landscapes. Route is along good well marked paths though can be rough in places. Cafe and toilets at start and end on camp site. Also cafe at Cwm Ivy half way. BPL. Possibility of camping over weekend for the hardy and maybe a swim at end if time permits

Start: Hill End Caravan site SA3 1JD - £6 or £7 to park for the day (car park down by dunes) , Start time: 10.30am (please be aware this a good 2 hours from Cardiff). Car sharing is suggested due to distance and car park charge.

Distance: around 10 miles, Time: 6 hours
