Pen Cerrig Calch & Table Mountain

This 8.5 mile walk climbs on to Table Mountain above Crickhowell, which is topped with the remains of a most spectacularly positioned Iron-age fort. It then scales the steep escarpment above to cross Pen Cerrig-calch. Following a superb lofty traverse of another formidable peak, Pen Allt-mawr, with terrific views over the Black Mountains, the walk then descends a broad ridge that forms the western wall of the remote Grwyne Fechan valley. Details are on the website https://www.ratedtrips.com/walking/pen-cerrig-calch-and-table-mountain

Also Pen Cerrig-calch and Table Mountain are on the Platinum Route of COG's big charity fundraiser, The Three Peaks Trial, which this year takes place on Saturday 28th March. So it's also an opportunity to find out more about this COG event as well from the walk leader Chris Lewis.

Meet 10:30am at the layby next to the bridge over the Cwm Banw stream, Grid Ref. 228234 W3W: fulfilled.cliff.tycoons. BPL. For further details, contact Chris Lewis: chrislewis693@gmail.com or 07377 409817
