Newport Wetlands walk with Wayne: 4 miles, Easy

This year is a special milestone anniversary for the Newport Wetlands National Nature Reserve, marking 25 years since it was first established. The walk commences at the RSPB Visitor Centre car park and initially follows a section of the Wales Coast Path (offering pleasant views across the Bristol Channel), passing the mouth of the River Usk and East Usk Lighthouse in doing so, before returning along reen and hedge lined tracks to the Visitor Centre and its cafe. Sorry but no dogs.

Please meet at the RSPB Visitor Centre car park (Grid Ref ST334834, What3Words into.festivity.else) for a 10:30am start. There is a £5 charge for the car park (RSPB members park free), an exit barrier token may be purchased from the Visitor Centre.

An evening with Nick, Shakespeare and Everyman Theatre players, who promise to present Shakespeare’s timeless masterpiece in an energetic, contemporary way, suggesting that Hamlet has never been seen that way before!
