Restore and Heal (45 min Yoga + 15 Min Meditation)

Moving in a gentle flow, we will explore our body's capabilities, to relax the body and to calm the mind, in preparation for meditation.

We explore different types of meditation, from Zazen, through single focus to insight meditation, often including special purpose meditations like Metta (Loving-kindness), Tonglen (Take and Give), healing meditation, etc. Some meditation will be guided and some will be left to the participants to explore.

Morning Energy Flow Yoga

Moving in a gentle flow, we will explore the Energy Body's capabilities, to open the flow of energy in our body and to re-establish connection among all parts of our bodies with full awareness.

Session program varies from class to class and includes many different postures and energy exercises (based on Energy Medicine principles)

Become a certified yoga teacher after completing all requirements, including 320 hours of teachings, written and teaching tests

Embark On Your Spiritual Journey

Explore the deep part of yoga and all associated sciences, phiosophies and practices and learn how to teach these to your students.  Become a Yogi, so you can guide others to uncover their own inner teacher, their own inner guru.  Extended training for 320 hrs. certification.  Low fee (less than half of the standard TT) is achieved by extensive self-study without limiting in-studio contact hours (70 hrs. +).  All students receive the keys to the studio for personal practice of yoga, meditation and study. All studio classes are free for the students to participate in.  It is an ongoing training so you can join it at anytime.

We meet on Sundays at 10:45 AM and the sessions last between 1.5 hrs and 2.5 hrs, depending on the content.

Your graduation is when you complete the whole curriculum, including written and practical testing

We will explore the wisdom of our body as we move into and out of the postures and will let body's wisdom to guide us through this journey

Delight In Motion

With Colleen Mulvihill, Empathic Teacher & Olympic Gymnast Choreographer & Dancer.

The class includes a mat and standing warm up and then moving through space as in a traditional dance class. Learn new weekly movement combinations to world music.

 Move with greater functional and structural ease from floor to feet to flow by:

 ~  Softly opening and mobilizing joint spaces of the spine and limbs. 

~  Using breath to support buoyant but grounded movement.

~  Cultivate an awareness of moving from the deep physical core of the body. 

~  Accessing support from the energetic centers of the body.

~  Move with body, mind and spirit on center.

From Yin to Yang and Back - Intermediate Level Yoga

The class will feature wide range of postures from passive (Yin) to more challenging active postures (Yang).  As always we will use these postures to explore the interworking of our mind and body. The purpose is to remove the veil of disturbance, our body's physical sensations create, so we can calm the mind and become more open to true reality (remove the ignorance of such).

Practice purpose is to challenge our mind and body to open to all possibilities, to fully balance Yin and Yang while restoring perfect union of mind, body and spirit.

We will gently move between passive (Yin) and active (Yang) postures to bring the balance back to our mind-body-spirit union (Yoga).

For this class Liz Giles, LMT, is available by reservation for added therapeutic, posture-enhancing body work during yoga. This special addition to the yoga practice has been shown to increase flexibility, open up stuck areas and lessen stress on targeted muscle groups. This special service is limited to 5 people/class so be sure to get your reservation in early. The cost of this additional service is $10/person/session above the normal session fee.
