Taoist Yoga

Taoist Yoga works to cultivate life energy. It stems from an ancient
Chinese system of postures, exercises, breathing techniques,and meditations.  Its techniques are designed to improve and enhance the body's Chi.
According to traditional Chinese philosophy, Chi is the fundamental life
energy responsible for health and vitality.

Restore and Heal (45 min Yoga + 15 Min Meditation)

Moving in a gentle flow, we will explore our body's capabilities, to relax the body and to calm the mind, in preparation for meditation.

We explore different types of meditation, from Zazen, through single focus to insight meditation, often including special purpose meditations like Metta (Loving-kindness), Tonglen (Take and Give), healing meditation, etc. Some meditation will be guided and some will be left to the participants to explore.
