Rifle - 50yd Rimfire Benchrest Match

Matches are held the 1st Saturday and 3rd Tuesday of every month. Initially we will employ "run what you bring" as long as it is a 22LR   until we have enough competitors to divide into classes.
Fee will be $4 for members and $6 for guests.
1st place earns $1 from each entry fee, runner-up earns $0.50 from each entry fee.
Targets will be standard ARA 50/50
Competitors will have 5 shots and 5 min to sight in and 25 shots with 30 min to complete the 25 target course of fire. A total of thirty rounds may be taken to the firing line.
Registration for matches is at 0830
The first shot at 9am sharp.

Club Sanctioned IDPA Defensive Pistol Match

IDPA Defensive Pistol Match
Sign in starts at 8:00 AM
Walk through at 8:30 am
First shot of the match at 9:00 AM

IDPA will be using the Action Pistol range for Stages 1 & 2,
the Silhouette Range for Stage 3 & 4.
and the Rifle Range for Stages 5 & 6.
These ranges will be in use for the match until aproximately noon.

Sign in time is 8:00 am. We like to give an orientation for all new shooters and place them with our most experienced SO's so as to give them the best start and make their first shoot not only exciting but fun.

8:30 am we give a walk through with SO's so they can guide shooters through the course and explain what to do.

9:00 am we want to fire the first shot. Make sure you bring plenty to drinks and snacks to hold you over.

When we shoot 5 stage's it takes about 3 1/2 hours to get every one through. This also depends on the size of the group.

Shooters must have IDPA approved equipment. Bring 100 rounds to be on the safe side.

Fee's: $10.00 for Flagler Gun Club Members and $15.00 for none Club Members.

Black Powder Match - Sillohuette Range

Black powder matches are open to anyone, member or not. They will be held at the Sillohuette

There will be 20 shooting positions and 25, 50 and 100 yard targets. Both flintlock and percussion are welcome. Pistols with more than 1 cylinder or barrel can only have 1 loaded at a time.

Matches will open for registration at 8:30 am and will last until aproximately 2pm.

Dates: 3rd Sunday of the month.

All Flagler Gun Club and National Muzzleloading Association safety rules will prevail.

Rifle - 50 yd Bench Rest matches

(Tue, 17 Nov 2009 8:30 AM EST) All members and guests are invited to compete in our 50 yard rimfire Bench rest matches. Matches will be held the first Saturday and third Tuesday of every month. Initially we will employ the "run what you bring" strategy as long as it employs a 22LR cartridge or until we have enough competitors to divide into rack grade and custom classes. Fee’s for these matches will be $4 for members and $6 for guests. First place will earn $1 from each entry fee and Runner-up will earn $0.50 from each entry fee. Targets will be standard ARA 50/50 with 25 scoring bulls and 4 slighter bulls. Competitors will have 5 shots and 5 min to sight in and 25 shots with 30 min to complete the 25 target course of fire. A total of thirty rounds may be taken to the firing line. Registration for all matches will take place at 0830 the morning of each match with the first shot taking place a 9am sharp. Action Pistol - PPC Match

We will be shooting a PPC match.

This will be the first time we have tried shooting a PPC (Practial Pistol Course) match.

Some of our members have asked that we hold this match. It is a static match which means no running. For more info, search "Practical Pistol", Practical Pistol Course" or "PPC" on Google or your favorite search engine.

Come early and help set up. Sign in at 9:30am, first shot at 10. The cooks should be there.
