ASU West Dumpster Dive

(Wed, 04 Nov 2009 10 AM - 6 PM MST)
During this event, people will empty garbage from bins around campus to show students how much of their waste is actually recyclable. Participants will be able to sort out any recyclable items, calculate their carbon footprint, and receive information about sustainability. Our hope is taht students can walk away from the event with ideas on how they can become active in these efforts. To do this, the school is inviting local organizations, campus departments, and clubs to set up information tables. This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase our services, resources, and volunteer opportunities to West campus students, faculty, and staff.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! For more information and to get involved, contact Tiffany Sprague at 602-253-9140 or tiffany.sprague@sierraclub.org.

Volunteers: Jim Wilkey
