Beginning German Language Class

In this introductory German class you will begin to explore the language and German culture. Topics to be covered include: the alphabet and German pronunciation as well as the basics of how to say hello, goodbye and to count. Nouns and important verbs will be introduced as well as understanding the importance of gender in the German language. This class promises to be a fun, interactive learning experience. Guten tag!

Required textbook will be available for purchase at the SIUE University Bookstore the 1st week of class.
