Counting Down to the Launch of 'The Better Half of This Life'

(Wed, 04 Nov 2009 100 - 200 EST) On September 1, 2010, I am anticipating the launch of the Better Half of this life. I am due to take early retirement on that day from public school teaching. While this will not be the end of my need for income producing activity, the reduced pension will provide a "cushion" to address the major needs of life, thus affording flexibility in how to earn funds for the "niceties" as it were.
My earnest prayer is that the road I travel for the Better Half of this life will be one that allows the LORD to get the greatest good and glory, to reach the most people possible with the message of His love, and to encourage the most believers possible to walk in Him.
Please pray with me as I seek His leading for this season of life.
And if, by chance, that date finds me, instead, to be around the Throne of God, please know, I will NOT be disappointed!

A gathering for my Kentucky "family" celebrating the goodness of our LORD. Extra Thanksgiving this year as my father has made it through a very rough Summer and is doing well. Both parents now live with me at Ebenezer so they will be "guests of honor" for the dinner that day.

Directions: Interstate 71 to exit 22. Go north on Highway 53 coming off the freeway and get in the far right hand lane immediately. The first right turn off of 53 will be onto East Crystal Drive, The Bank of Oldham County will be on the right at East Crystal Drive. Drive about 1/2 mile out East Crystal Drive to Washington Manor Subdivison, which will be on the left. Turn in, make the right turn at the first corner. That will be Washington Circle. Addresses are on the mailboxes at the curb.

Kentucky State Gospel Singing Convention Henry County Community Singing

Morning Worship/Evening Concert at Long Ridge Baptist Church

I will be singing two or three specials during 11:00 AM morning worship. At 6:30 PM, I will be doing a full concert. Between services will be dinner and kickback time in Long Ridge.

Copies of my three CD's will be available to purchase.

Long Ridge is on Hwy. 127. Take the Sparta exit from Interstate 71, head toward Owenton, and the church will be on the right about four miles or so before Owenton. It has a big sign out front.
