    FM's manage/oversee an operating facility primarily. To do this, FM's must have a working knowledge of building systems, structure, interiors, exteriors & grounds so the facility & all of its required systems function. The required systems need to function efficiently, reliably, safely, securely and in a manner consistent with existing regulations and standards. Effective operation and maintenance of facilities is a complex responsibility in today's environment. Cost: IFMA Members - $550 Non-Members - $650

    About Neil Bavins:

    Neil joined PSR in 2004, and has over 30 years of experience in the design, delivery and service of HVAC and building controls systems. Neil has worked as senior project developer for an energy service company and as National Energy Director for Service Logic. Neil holds a degree in HVAC system design, is a Certified Energy Manager, Certified Energy Auditor, LEED-AP Operation and Maintenance, and is ASHRAE certified in facility Operations and Performance Management. Neil is an instructor in the Building Operator Certification Program, and is an approved City of Seattle Tune Up Specialist.
