    Darkside Tour of Benaroya Hall: The Tour

    Join our exciting tour of an incredible Symphony Hall that was built directly above railroad tracks and the bus tunnel. Learn about initial construction challenges, acoustics engineering, and operations for a variety of events.

    ENTRANCE INSTRUCTIONS
     Driving directions and information about mass transit options are available on theBenaroya Hall website
     
    Registrants with cars:
    Ignore any FULL signs at the Benaroya garage entrance on Second Street. There will be spaces held for IFMA. Look for a sandwich board on the sidewalk by the parking garage entrance.
     
     Once in the garage, BRING YOUR TICKET TO THE EVENT TO BE VALIDATED FOR FREE PARKING!
     
    Llook for the elevator marked 'SECOND AVENUE ELEVATOR'; you will also see signs for 'Artists Entrance'. That is our elevator and our entrance.
     
    Once you take the elevator to the street level, you should also enter at the Artists Entrance. Security will then direct you to the Founders Room for the meeting.
     
    Registrants who are walking:
     We MUST use the Artists Entrance on Second Ave south of garage entrance. All other doors to the Hall will be locked. Security will direct you to the Founders Room for the meeting.

    Thinking of Taking the CFM Exam? Here's a great way to ensure your success!

    The new and improved CFM Exam Prep Workshop will be presented by Victoria Hardy, CFM. Victoria is the IFMA approved CFM Exam Prep Workshop Plus instructor for the Seattle area and comes to us with a long history as a practicing facility professional and academic leader, with more than 15 years of teaching experience including multiple CFM Exam Course Review workshops.

    The library is accessible from mass transit. There's reasonable parking option for those who need to drive.

    Days 1 and 2 are devoted to an intense review and will focus on the toughest areas of the exam:
     - Finance and Business
     - Real Estate and Property Management
     - Technology
     - Environmental Stewardship and Sustainability (new to the exam this year)

    Saturday is our CFM Prep Workshop which delves into the structure of the exam and strategies aimed at your success. Saturday is for those of you who do not need the knowledge area reviews, and just want to take the prep workshop, and do not want to miss work!

    Cost:
    $700: Three Day Workshop, includes all manuals, lunches, and snacks. (IFMA charged individuals $1195 for the same workshop at World Workplace!).

    $250: JUST the Exam Prep Day, includes the Prep Manual, lunch and snacks.

    Materials need to be ordered, so please ENROLL TODAY!! Your chapter has worked hard to save everyone the costs of travel, and now we have an approved instructor in our area! Don't miss this benefit of your IFMA membership!
