    Lunch & Learn Series

'Increasing Communication Effectiveness Through the Understanding of DISC Behavioral Styles'

Speaker: James Alberson, Owner and Principal of Top Tier Training & Development, Inc. More About James!

    More Details

Whether it is in the workplace or at home, our level of understanding of the behavioral and communication tendencies of others can make all the difference between harmony and havoc, success and failure, or yes and no.

Learn how to not only recognize the different behavioral styles operating around you, but more importantly, how to adjust your communication to achieve success from every interaction you have.

We all adapt daily to different situations and people. Understanding DISC styles allows leaders to adapt quickly and easily - significantly improving communication which ultimately leads to improved performance. Most people get hired on the basis of skills, experience, education and training. Over 80% of people who get fired or leave a company, do so because of a behavioral issue or conflict, commonly referred to as a 'bad attitude'. DISC measures observable behavior and emotions. Once managers have the basics clearly defined, they are able to identify why some thrive in the same environment that others simply do not.
