Advent Scripture Study, Reflection, and Q & A

(Sat, 07 Nov 2009 10:15 AM - 11:45 AM MST) Fr. Rafael will lead a Scripture Study with time for reflection, discussion, and a Q & A every Saturday morning from 10:15 to 11:45 am in Advent. This will take place in the outdoor courtyard between the church and the offices at Immaculate Conception.

Coffee and a snack will be provided. You can come whenever you are available and do not need to attend every meeting. You are also invited to stay for the 12:10 mass after the gathering.

5K Run for Life

Born to Run, New Mexico's biggest pro-life event of the year, raises fund for RTLCNM Education Trust Fund. This year's run/walk will take place Saturday, Nov. 14 at Albuquerque's Balloon Fiesta Park. It is a great event for the entire family--from serious runners to casual walkers to stroller riders. There are games, prizes and inflatables for the children, information booths, and snacks for participants. Bundle up if the weather requires and come rub elbows with other pro-lifers. Check-in and packet pick-up begins at 8:30 a.m., the 5K run/walk begins at 10 a.m., and the 1 mile run/walk begins at 10:30 a.m.

There are four ways to register:

Walk-in registration at the state office (2413 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Suite A) until close of business Thursday, Nov. 12.
Mail-in registration must be postmarked no later than Friday, Nov. 6 and mailed to RTLCNM, 2413 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Ste. A, Albuquerque, NM 87112
Online registration with a credit card at www.active.com before Nov. 13.
Race day registration will be available at Balloon Fiesta Park from 8:30 a.m. until 15 minutes before race time.

Packet pick-up is from 12 noon to 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13 at Heart and Sole Sports, 2817 San Mateo NE, and again on race day at Balloon Fiesta Park from 8:30 a.m. until 15 minutes before race time.

Service Day at St. Mary's Rest Home - paint & plant

Sunday Meal for the Homeless at ICC - young adults needed every 3rd Sunday

OUR GOAL IS TO GIVE 50 TURKEYS TO THE FAMILIES OF CASA DE LAS COMMUNIDADES
