<p><strong>BALC Zoom Meeting</strong></p>  <p><strong>Friday, April 10, 2026</strong></p>  <p><strong>&ldquo;Important New Developments in Personal Injury Law&rdquo;</strong></p>  <p><strong>1 Substantive Live CLE Credit</strong></p>  <p><strong>Presented by: Mark Altemose, Esq.</strong></p>  <p>We are pleased to announce that Attorney Mark Altemose, a board‑certified civil trial attorney and CEO of Cohen, Feeley, Altemose &amp; Rambo PC, will present his 14th annual update on Important New Developments in Personal Injury Law.</p>  <p>This one‑hour program will review the most significant changes in personal injury law over the past year, including developments in premises liability, sovereign immunity, automobile law, medical malpractice, evidence, discovery, products liability, and liens.</p>  <p>Attorney Altemose is a graduate of Lafayette College and Villanova University School of Law. Throughout his career, he has focused exclusively on personal injury and construction litigation and has served as lead counsel in major cases involving automobile and trucking accidents, medical malpractice, construction injuries, product liability, and other serious injury matters. &nbsp;He is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and is frequently invited to teach CLE programs and to serve as a mediator and arbitrator in complex personal injury cases.</p>  <p>He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania, the District of New Jersey, and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. &nbsp;His professional memberships include the American Bar Association, Lehigh County Bar Association, Northampton County Bar Association, Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, and the Donald E. <p><strong>BALC WEBINAR</strong></p>  <p><strong>Tuesday, April 14, 2026</strong></p>  <p><strong>&ldquo;What to Know about Right-to-Know&rdquo;</strong></p>  <p><strong>1 Substantive Live CLE Credit</strong></p>  <p><strong>Presented by: Liz Wagenseller and Kyle Applegate, Esq.</strong></p>  <p><strong>PA Office of Open Records</strong></p>  <p>The Right-to-Know Law (RTKL) continues to evolve in furtherance of its core purpose of promoting government transparency and accountability.&nbsp; This presentation will examine the legal and procedural challenges currently facing the Office of Open Records, ranging from longstanding issues such as conclusory affidavits to emerging concerns involving generative AI.&nbsp; It will be led by the OOR Executive Director and Chief Counsel.&nbsp; This session will also provide a general overview of significant court decisions from 2025.</p>  <p>Liz Wagenseller is the Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Office of Open Records (OOR).&nbsp; She leads all aspects of the independent, quasi-judicial agency that decides appeals of denied requests for records under the Right-to-Know Law (RTKL).&nbsp; The RTKL works to provide fair and legal access to local and state government records.&nbsp;</p>  <p>Before coming to the OOR, Liz was actively involved in promoting government accountability, serving as Chief of Staff in the Pennsylvania Department of the Auditor General.</p>  <p>Attorney Kyle Applegate is the Chief Counsel for the Office of Open Records.&nbsp; Among other duties, he is responsible for supervising the work of the Office&rsquo;s seventeen attorneys.&nbsp; He joined the Office as an Appeals Officer in 2011 and has served as the Chief Counsel since 2021.&nbsp; Kyle is a graduate of Shippensburg University and Widener University School of Law.</p>  <p><strong>Webinar: 12:00 PM &ndash; 1:00 PM</strong></p>  <p><strong>Tuition: $35.00</strong></p>  <p><strong>To Register Call Nancy @ 610.433.6401 Ext: 16 (or)</strong></p>  <p><strong>E-mail: </strong><a href='mailto:cle@lehighbar.org' rel='nofollow'><strong>cle@lehighbar.org</strong></a></p>]]></description>
