WORKSHOP HELPS CITIZENS PROMOTE NEIGHBORHOODS

SAVI will host a “Neighborhood Place-Making Workshop” at this year’s 14th Annual Spirit & Place Festival. The interactive workshop is scheduled for Tuesday, November 10 from 6-8 PM at the Roberts Park United Methodist Church. Attendees will learn alternative ways to promote news and data about their neighborhoods, and how to leverage this data to produce tangible results. More

Women of Trinity are hosting their annual HarvestFest

The luncheon features:
Chicken Bazaar (delicious chicken casserole), cranberry salad, green beans, yeast roll, pumpkin pie and drink and the cost is $7.
The event also features a Yum-Yum Tree (home-made desserts and goodies), and home-made creations (knit, crochet, paintings, jewelry, home decor).
Location is Trinity Episcopal Church, 1030 Brown-Delaware Street.

Better Breathers Club To Meet At The Paramount Theatre In November

The Better Breathers Club is a support group for adults suffering from chronic lung disease, organized through the American Lung Association of Indiana. Club members attend monthly meetings to share experiences, knowledge, ideas and strengths. Meetings include expert speakers, video presentations and roundtable discussions.
The next Better Breathers meeting will be on Tuesday, Nov. 24 at 3 p.m., in the ballroom of the Paramount Theatre. The group will tour the Festival of Trees.
