<title><![CDATA[SG3 - Open Studio Workshop]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[(Thu, 05 Nov 2009  10 AM - 12 PM EST)
Take your copper foil work to the next level.&nbsp; This workshop style class aims to improve your skills in any/all of the foil techniques.&nbsp; So, come prepared to work on a panel - we address each individual&#39;s needs, whether it is cutting, grozing, foiling, soldering, or even glass selection.&nbsp; We can discuss reinforcement, issues with skylights, colors of patina, etc.&nbsp; Not only will you improve your skills, but you will come away with tips to handle problems brought up by other students.&nbsp; Time and space permitting, we can address issues of incorporating other techniques into your stained glass panels, i.e. fusing, etching, painting.&nbsp; Tuition for 4 weeks is $150.00<br />======================================================<br />Or:&nbsp; If you don&#39;t need much help, but want a place to come work on projects knowing that there&#39;s always someone in the Studio available to help, you can sign up for open studio time.&nbsp; There are 3 ways to enroll:<br />1)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; You may sign up for 4 weeks for $100,&nbsp;<br />2)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; or any individual class for $30.00,<br />3)&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; Students who want to sign up for&nbsp;longer,&nbsp;cost is only $20 per session&nbsp;with&nbsp;a&nbsp;minimum commitment of&nbsp;6 weeks ($120).&nbsp; These do not have to be consecutive weeks, we keep track as you come in.]]></description>

Plus you will get used to working in the flame by making &quot;stringers&quot; and &quot;twisties&quot;, moving on to simple shapes of beads.<br />The 2nd session is your starting point for more advanced techniques. Learn how to make various bead shapes, decorate with your stringers and twisties, make dots, feather the design, add texture, and, time permitting, work with silver foil and/or murrini.&nbsp; Take home the beads you make</font>!</font></p>]]></description>
