Digital photography is rapidly moving outside of traditional equipment (cameras). Hundreds of millions of us use mobile devices, drones, wearable devices and who knows what is next. Couple this with the fact that millions of images are taken every day and instantly shared with hundreds of millions of people everywhere in the world and we realize that “photography” is no longer recognizable or limited to a select strata of society. We need to discuss the paradigm as to how it affects our Camera Guild and what enhancements and philosophy adjustments we need to target. |
